UAkronPark has a few updates regarding permit purchasing. First, please note that the system for accessing parking permits has been modified to increase security. Permits can no longer be searched using an EMPLID on the website; instead, permit holders must log in to their accounts to view their permits. This can be done by navigating to akron.thepermitstore.com and selecting the login option in the top right corner of the homepage.

Secondly, please note that parkers who previously purchased a Grad/Law permits are now advised to obtain a commuter semester permit.

Additionally, per UAkron’s new policy, only one car is to be associated with each parking permit at any given time for non-faculty/staff permits. Permit holders may switch the vehicle associated with their permit at their convenience, but only one car can be associated with a permit at a time.

As a final note, customers experiencing any issues with credit card transactions, incorrect permit permissions, or anything else while purchasing their permit should promptly contact the UAkronPark office for assistance.
